The ALKAL-LIFE 7000SL uses a 6 layer active carbon fiber high performance filter which contains a first stage filter, a PE Plain Filter, Clinical Activated Carbon Fiber, Silver coated Activated Carbon Fiber, UF membrane filter, and a Calcium Chamber, service life sufficient for filtering residual chlorine from 3000 gallons of tap water.
